Labotemp Laboratory Digestion Unit LMD-301 combines controlled high-temperature sample digestion with dedicated acid gas collection through the Waste Gas Collection Hood, providing a practical solution for laboratories performing acid digestion and sample preparation. The LMD-301 configuration provides 20 sample holes, a 450°C designed temperature, ±1°C temperature control accuracy, approximately 6–15°C/min heating rate, and 4 kW heating power for efficient multi-sample processing. Its 5.5-inch color touchscreen, 9 programmable recipe groups, and 1–999 minute timer support repeatable laboratory workflows, while over-temperature protection helps safeguard the furnace during operation.

During digestion, the paired acid Gas collection hood captures acid mist and waste gases generated from the heated samples and directs them toward a suitable neutralization system before discharge. The hood provides 20 collection ports and 2 extraction openings, with PTFE sealing caps offering high-temperature and acid resistance and a welded stainless steel housing for long-term corrosion resistance. Together, the digestion unit and waste gas collection system provide a more controlled and organized setup for laboratories handling corrosive digestion fumes during sample preparation.
