Muffle Furnace FMU-25

Labotemp Muffle Furnace FMU-25 is a chamber furnace with MoSi₂ heating elements capable of operation up to 1700°C. The 64 L chamber is suitable for applications such as hardening, tempering, normalizing, stress relieving, calcination, ceramic processing, and heat treatment of steel parts. Powerful MoSi₂ heaters are positioned vertically on two sides of the chamber to provide effective heating, while the cubical, brick-insulated construction supports thermal stability during extended high-temperature operation. The furnace is particularly suited to industrial laboratories, research facilities, materials testing, and production environments requiring controlled high-temperature processing.

Reliable temperature control is provided by a precision PID controller with a K-type thermocouple and accuracy of ±1°C. The rugged construction incorporates fan cooling to help maintain a lower external surface temperature, while overheat protection shuts the furnace down if the temperature exceeds the acceptable range or the thermocouple malfunctions. Power-failure protection automatically resumes operation after power is restored, supporting process continuity. With CE certification and an 80 kW, three-phase 380 V power supply, this high-efficiency furnace is built for demanding laboratory and industrial workloads where dependable performance and long-term reliability matter.
